I am sitting in my office.  Remembering good times in Carthage and had an excitement to type.  Things are good here.  They are kind of stressful, but they are also exciting.  I am currently listening to Mark Moore’s sermon on Jesus and Ethics.  It is really interesting.  Like most of his stuff I am convicted about being a horrible person.  Regardless of that I like it because it reminds me of how great grace is.

I love the life that Jesus has for me.  Why?  My guess is because I don’t have anything under control.  I don’t mind being a wild mess.  When I got here I (second Sunday) had to preach.  I was driving home and told Keri, “I hope I don’t have to do that for a while.”  Rick (the preacher) asked me to preach the Sunday of labor day weekend.  I laughed and said “yes.”  If I could list  the things on my plate I would spend to much time typing and not doing.  I am not saying that to say that to show that I am important.  I am saying that because I don’t know where to start or what to do.  I am saying this, because God is good and using a messy, sinful, looser.  I can’t think God enough for letting me do this here at this place.

Well I guess I should say how life is going.  Keri and I are doing great.  We just got her a car and we pick it up today at 5:00 I hope.  Tonight!  I don’t know what we are going to do?  We could go to the mountains on a short hike, or go in town to one of the shopping centers.  My favorite; visiting a bike shop (not Keri’s).

I guess I should ask you guys to pray that God will keep me being messy and not under control because it seems to keep reminding me that God is going to do what he wants anyways.  Please pray that I don’t forget about my wife and focus to much on my work.  Please pray that I will be real with my kids, and the people in the church.

Dusty thanks so much for the phrase “Ruined by Jesus” I didn’t fully grasp that until I moved to a place that doesn’t care about Jesus or his Bride.  It also took getting out of bible college to realize that I was Ruined by Jesus in a beautiful way.  Love you guys

www.southeastchristianchurch.org is the website to the church

I know that it is been a while since I have last wrote.  I have been busy...well not really busy just lazy.  Listen to me sound like I am important.  I have been traveling alot.  I have been interview with several place and riding some pretty intence bike trails.  The last place that I went was Salt Lake City, Utah.  Yes you guessed it I was mountain bike and interveiwing.  I had a blast with both.  That is why I am moving up there on Augest 12th I am so pumped.  The church is amazing.  I really don't have anything bad to say about it.  You might think that i am being a little biased, but if you had heard some of the stories about the other places that looked at you would know that i am not rushing into a job.  I love it there.  The church is wonderful and the enviroment is out of this world.  The mormons are really wierd.  I love them already, but they are strange.  I do envy there faith, but don't envy there religion.  In the words of Rick Stewart, "it is good, it's good."  I'm sure that you will hear more from me later.  Tell then...I don't know what to say after that.  Peace ya'll (one of the last redneck thing i get to say before i move to the big city)  Cody

Most resent bike race

Well it is in the result of the 2006 Le Tour De Tick (race in Neosho).  I got...2nd.  Yep 2nd place out of 6 people in my class.  I started out 5th and passed everyone in my class with in the first 2 miles of my 12 mile race.  The most important thing is i had a blast.  I had so much fun, it was hard and tough, but i finished it strong.

This is the website to see the official results and times of the race.  As of last night it wasn't posted, but it will be soon.
